CREATIVE MOVEMENT
Ages 3-5. Kids learn coordination and
cooperation as they learn to explore space,
playfully learning movement techniques.

Our emphasis is on technique and style
while learning the traditional classic routines
and patterns: the Shim Sham, Soft Shoe
and Waltz Clog.

WEST AFRICAN DANCE
Learn the proper technique for doing West
African dance, focusing on poly-rhythmic
movement. This is a fun and energetic class
All levels are welcome. Dance barefoot.

Learn choreography, from street dance to club
dance...Teenagers and adults welcome. No
previous dance experience is required for the

BEGINNING SALSA
Today’s hottest dance trend is the Salsa! Get
introduced to this Latin dance and have a great
time at parties and social events. The Salsa is
simple in structure, allowing you to learn many
variations easily. You don’t need your own
partner. Latin styling and a variety of steps.

FLAMENCO!
Flamenco is an exciting, charismatic danceform.
Learn the rhythms employed by clapping
and dancing in the southern Spanish
flamenco style. Wear comfortable clothing
and heeled shoes.
Mondays, 7:30 - 8:30 pm

CIRCUS SKILLS & CLOWNING
Give your inner clown some class! Learn to
move like Chaplin, dance like Danny Kaye
and juggle like Brian Wendling. Some of the
skills that will be covered will be Slapstick
Combat, how to take a pie in the face, stilt
walking, hula hoop, tumbling, character
development, make-up application and much
more. Lots of fun and inspirational improv
guaranteed. Red nose optional.
Tuesdays, 6 - 7 pm

clowns, mimes and juggling artists
including but not limited to: Richard Renner, Stephanie
Roberts, Jay & Leslie Cady, Beth Byrd,
Heidi Stubblefield, Kent & Kevin Mercer and more...
SUMMER BELLY DANCE!
Traditional Technique Training: Loosen up
with low-intensity warm-ups before learning
classical Belly Dance movements and polish
your technique in the first half of this 1 1/2
hour class.
Aerobic Fun Fest: The second half will be a
vigorous non-stop workout using those same
traditional steps to get the blood flowing.
Students are welcome to take either half of
this class by itself.

INDIAN CLASSICAL DANCE
We emphasize technique and style while
learning traditional dance patterns. Learn
exotic ‘Mudras’ (hand symbol), rhythmic
body techniques and vigorous acrobats of
Manipuri dance with live ‘Mridanga’ (drum).
Live drum. Open to all levels of dancers.
Dance barefoot.
Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 pm

HORTON MODERN TECHNIQUE
Horton technique covers a diverse movement
territory, featuring strengthening,
stretching and spatial exploration based on
corrective exercises and a sense of artistic
design, enabling the dancer to develop a
superior movement repertoire. This class is
for intermediate level dancers and above.

SWING!
"Swing your troubles away," as the song says.
We will focus on the East Coast style for fun and
practicality. A variety of swing styles will be demonstrated.
Partner or no. Bring comfortable shoes.
Thursdays, 7 - 8 pm
BURLESQUE
Get in touch with the confident, humorous,
sassy and sensual performer that lives deep
down inside you. We will shake, shimmy
and wink our way through various styles
and techniques. Wear layers, be comfortable
and prepare to be dazzling! All comfort
levels respected. Women only.

SHAOLIN KUNG FU
Learn self-defense, based on the original eight
animals of Kung Fu: leopard, crane, dragon,
tiger, snake, praying mantis, monkey and
eagle. Join us for a great aerobic workout!
For Kids (6 - 10): Tuesdays, 4:00 - 5:00 pm
For Teens (10 - teen) Fridays, 5:30 - 6:30 pm

HEALING
THROUGH MOVEMENT
Dance is for everybody. This class will focus on
healing the body through joyful movement, reawakening
the muscles to create strength and
stability. If an apple a day keeps the doctor
away, think what a dance a day can do for you.
