Professional Company Member/Ballet and Hip Hop Instructor

Alyssa Gaede began her training at Newton Performing Arts Center at the age of 4 in Newton, Kansas. There she participated in the competitive team, won several regional and national awards, and was an instructor for the last 9 years. Alyssa received her Bachelors of Fine Arts with an emphasis in modern dance from Wichita State University. There she had the opportunity to work with choreographers including Darrell Grand Moultrie, Charlotte Boye-Christensen and Nathan Trice. At Wichita State she was also able to participate in shows with Alithea Mime Theater and go on two international tours to Mexico with Wichita Contemporary Dance Theater. Alyssa is very excited for the opportunity to be an apprentice with City in Motion and looks forward to the upcoming season.
