Mimi has been a dancer for 25 years and taught many styles at various levels for 12 years at United Dance in Waldo. Growing up Mimi trained in multiple styles and also went on to dance for her high school team. After graduation, Mimi immediately began teaching various styles including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and musical theatre. She was also the coach for Center High School’s dance team and choreographed their individual routines including, kick, pom, and jazz, as well as choreographing for their marching band field show performances. She has taken teams to competitions over the last 12 years and have won awards ranging from choreography, technique, entertainment, and execution. These teams have also won competition State titles, 1st place overalls, and awards from the city council and mayor. Mimi specializes in all ages, but jazz is my favorite style to dance and teach!
