Hip Hop Instructor
Lacey Gasaway has been dancing in Kansas City since she was 3 years old. She danced competitively at Starstruck Performing Arts Center and Priscilla and Dana’s School of Dance in her youth. In high school at Shawnee Mission East, she joined the dance team for 2 years on Varsity. At Kansas State University she began teaching hip hop classes at the schools recreation center, and drew in a large crowd of beginners up to classy cats (KSU’s dance team). She is currently studying Kinesiology at Avila University, and teaches boxing classes to people who have Parkinson’s disease. Pilates is another one of her passions, and she is currently interning at Pilates by Kahley to become an instructor for reformer Pilates. Lacey is so excited to have another chance to dance again because she missed it deeply, and cannot wait to get DOWN with City in Motion!
