City in Motion Dance Theater, Inc. was founded in 1985 with a original mission to foster the development of high-quality contemporary dance programming and expand the dance audience in the Kansas City metropolitan region.
40 years later, our renewed mission has evolved to create dance opportunities for everyBODY in Kansas City - including a welcoming, non-competitive home for people of all ages who want to learn a number of forms of dance. Learn more
