The City in Motion Youth (CIMY) company provides quality instruction by professional instructors and Artistic Directors, and an opportunity for young dancers to experience teamwork, collaboration and leadership.
CITY IN MOTION YOUTH
City in Motion Youth is a non-competitive performance company open to ages 7-18 of all skill levels, beginning through advanced. Company members take two technique classes weekly and attend rehearsals on most Saturdays September through May. In this program students find a creative outlet through dance and learn to develop and perform their own choreography. They experience dance as an art form and work with professional choreographers on pieces of artistic merit.
