Erin Meunks
Ballet Technique Instructor
Erin Muenks grew up dancing at a Kansas City studio where she later taught and choreographed ballet and modern dance. Erin continued her interest in choreography as a student at the University of Missouri Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2011. Her choreography was commissioned by a piano doctoral student to be performed as part of a senior doctoral concert. Erin was awarded a scholarship to Artist INC program in 2011. Her choreography was featured in 2012 at A Modern Night at the Folly. Her work has appeared in the Kansas City Fringe Festival in 2013 and 2014. She has choreographed work for the Kansas City Women’s Chorus. Erin was chosen as a resident of the Charlotte Street Foundation Urban Culture Project from 2012-2014. Currently, Erin teaches ballet and adaptive dance at various Kansas City locations. She is so excited to be a part of City in Motion!
