Young Choreographer's Workshop

We hope you can join us for City in Motion's third annual Young Choreographer's Workshop. The Young Choreographer’s Workshop is a one day event in which artists take contemporary class, guided improvisation, learn, implement, and discuss choreographic tools. This space encourages participants to explore their choreographic voice and artistic vision. We strive to create a space which fosters a sense of community, allowing dancers to expand their artistic dimensions. The Young Choreographer’s Workshop operates with the goal to promote the growth of well-rounded emerging choreographers and give opportunities for young artists to share their work in a professional setting. 

Anyone who participates in the Young Choreographer’s Workshop (YCW) is eligible to apply for the Young Choreographer’s Showcase (YCS) at no additional cost.
