Johnny Dinh Phan
Johnny Dinh Phan is a Kansas City based dancer, choreographer, and teacher. He is also a medical student at the KU School of Medicine. His recent performances include “Homesick” with Frtrss Dance Theatre at Cleveland Dance Fest, “Underground” with Störling Dance Theater at the Kauffman Center, Modern Night at the Gem, Dance in the Park, “Growing” with City in Motion Dance Theater, Conjure the Night at Worlds of Fun, Newsies at the New Theatre Restaurant, A Chorus Line at MTH, Beauty and the Beast at Smet Theatrics, Elf the Musical at Padgett Productions, Bye Bye Birdie at MTKC Pro, and Anastasia at Shawnee Mission Theatre in the Park. Johnny trained at the Miller Marley School of Dance then obtained his Dance BFA from the University of Kansas. He has choreographed for City in Motion Dance Theater, and he also continues to choreograph many musicals in the KC area. He has also taught dance at Ignition Dance Academy and Spotlight Dance Academy.
